MTSSC 3rd XI scored a thumping victory over Finchley CC to retain top spot in the Middlesex Sunday League.

Having lost the toss and having to field MTSSC started well with Kala picking up 3 wickets in his first spell. Yogi and Glajeev who followed him into the attack bowled impressively picking up 2 wickets each to choke the Finchley Run rate. Gabi & Raj Senthil finished of the Innings picking up the remaining wickets to restrict Finchley to 82 runs in 30 Overs.

On a tricky pitch MTSSC started the innings with a wobble losing 2 quick wickets under 20 runs. And the third wicket followed soon with the score at 30. But Sudip played a calm innings of 33 and coupled with Big hitting from Seelan for 29 runs took the score to 70 before both of them departed in quick succession. But Yogi & Gabi knocked of the remaining few runs to take us home comfortably in 22 Overs
