Club Open Day on 29-Aug-2010

To All Our Senior Cricketers

I hope to see you all, your family members and friends at the grounds on our Club Open Day.

We have a very active plan to double the cricket squad next year for the seniors/colts. The club feels it is necessary to have bigger pool of players for easier and competitive selection process in the forthcoming years.

The club expects all existing players to introduce at least one player (senior/colts) before the open day. Who are prospective players?…….Think about your relatives, neighbours and friends who are interested in sports (adults/child who is in year 1 to year 5).

To encourage more turn out, we have decided that there is No entrance fee for adults or kids on the Open Day. So please let every one know about this great news that there is no entrance fee to come for this event for any one.

Even if you are on holiday at that time, please encourage your friends and relatives to come for this open day and don’t miss the opportunity to have fun with our MTSSC members/families on Sunday 29th August (day before the bank holiday Monday), it will be a great day.

Weather may play a big part on what activities we may have on that day but we are planning to have the following activities:

1. ADULTS SIX A SIDE within ALL our 5 Seniors Team.

2. The activities below for the children’s:
i) Face painting
ii) Quad Bikes
iii) Crazy catch competition
iv) Hoops
v) Bouncy castle

3. Netball Exhibition match for ladies and Netball coaching for girls/mums

4. Egg spoon races for mums and dads.

5. 6 a side cricket match involving parents and kids from U11 to U16.

There will be Food stall – BBQ food and Kottu Rotti will be available for sale.

If anyone likes to help run or organise these events or wants to participate in these events, please let me know your interest. We are also looking for some volunteers to donate some gifts so we can give them as prizes for some of these competitions.

We do need volunteers, so please don’t be shy. Pls come forward. Please help us to make this event a success.
